BlindSight
A short horror game drawn ENTIRELY in black and white pixels. Only.
It only sees you when you move.
And you can only see what moves.
You wake up in a bed that isn't yours. The house is quiet. It isn't empty.
Every frame of BlindSight is in black and white, its just a trick with our eyes, which allow us to see what's truly happening. There's a TUTORIAL for you to get used to it.
Once again, the house isn't empty. You have 3 chances to get out through numerous ways.
Get out
- Two ways out. Cut the power at the breaker box and the front door unlocks. Or find the crowbar and tear the boards off a window. Both are loud.
- It hears you. Running, prying, the pulse. Sound travels through the halls, and it follows the sound.
- It sees motion. Walk and it sees you across the room. Crouch and you are harder to see. Freeze and you vanish.
- The pulse. Send out a wave, and everything it touches leaves a burning outline for a few seconds. It hears that too.
- Three chances. When it catches you, you wake up in the same bed. The third time, it keeps you.
What's inside
- It's actually a way I guarantee you've probably never seen before.
- A hunter with REAL SMART pathfinding, like hearing curved sound waves and path finding to movement.
- 3D sound. Its footsteps come from where it is, and go muffled behind walls.
- A guided tutorial that teaches you how to see.
- Full settings: pixel size, contrast, field of view, mouse sensitivity, invert Y, separate volumes, reduced flashing, softer jump scares.
- Short: most escapes take 10 to 20 minutes. It runs in your browser, with nothing to install.
Controls
| WASD | Movement |

| Shift | Run. (will be loud) |
| C | Crouch. (reduces figure's vision of you) |
| Space | Pulse. (Sends out that pulse enabling you to see) |

Photosensitivity warning
This game is made entirely of moving black-and-white static. It could cause eye strain, and it may trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy, even with no history of seizures. If you feel dizzy or sick, or your vision changes, stop playing at once. There is a Reduce flashing option in Settings, and K freezes the picture at any moment.
The game also has sudden loud sounds, jump scares and being chased.
Play it right!
Headphones on, Lights off, Full screen. Click the game once to give it your mouse (game will remind you). It needs a keyboard, a mouse. Press play on the top of this page to start.
